First of all – I rock! I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer. I have a unique view of the world and I try to capture that view with a camera and squeeze that onto a photograph. I specialize in people because people are just so interesting.
I am easy going and I bend over backwards so you have the best photos. Location, equipment, technique, communication, everything goes into the experience of making a portrait. But I want that experience to be fun for you. I don’t want you worrying about time constraints or such. We take the time we need.
I am awesome at getting people to relax in front of the camera. It is easy for a photographer if their subject is a model – but real people aren’t models and often don’t know what to do. My job is to direct you and the best way to do that is a fun environment as we photograph.
So I will direct poses at times but often I will suggest different attitudes and directions to look and how to stand. Sometimes I will stand and pose first and then let you imitate me. So don’t worry – we have got your back.
For those who are curious I photograph with Nikon equipment. But camera equipment doesn’t make the photographer. I could still create amazing photographs with Canon, Sony or other brands.
