Today’s photograph is of the future of photography – film! I am kidding – to a degree.
I am pretty much a photographer who never shot film. I did have a point and shoot that used film back in college – but that isn’t a real camera. I have used digital since about 2000 with my first 1.3 megapixel camera. And today I bought my first true film camera. And I bought some film to go with it. Why am I doing this? To learn more – to challenge myself and grow as a photographer and an artist. Film brings a unique character to photographs. And it will teach me to slow down and be patient.
