Glee comes to Club Jam with some Karaoke

written by dav.d

Club Jam has been a lot of fun. If you haven’t been invited to one of their private parties then you are missing out and probably a big loser! So find out what is going on and get an invite! And check out the full gallery of photos for this last private party at Jam. And be sure to buy some photos – that helps me take more photos!

The party began watching So You Think You Can Dance and then watched glee. Two awesome shows. Afterwards there was a lot of karaoke.

And I photographed the whole night with one lens – my Nikkor f/1.4 50mm lens. Granted I could never survive with just one lens – but if I had to pick one this would be the front runner. It should be every photographer’s secret weapon. So don’t tell anyone, shhhh!

Andre, I haven’t seen you in forever!

This shot is hilarious, we have a Charlie’s Angels pose, we have a “I am too cool pose”, just fun.

And there was some dancing with the birthday girl. She brought her army of friends to karaoke and they ruled the night.

She feels like dancing - dance the night away

And of course I was dressed appropriately in a BYU t-shirt. Someone said the BYU makes me look straight, lol.

I like this photograph because of the 3 couples that are huddled together.

Can you count the couples?

And of course another happy birthday wish to the birthday girl.

Happy birthday!

Autumn Leaves & Apples – Day 43 of 365

Apple and autumn

Apple and autumn

A few years ago I had entered a photograph of autumn leaves to a podcast contest. I was an honorable mention – which was pretty cool. So today I decided to photograph leaves from the same tree. And lo and behold there was a few apples in the tree.

This time I had the right ISO. The photograph I had entered in the contest was shot at ISO 640 and had hints of grain. This time I set the IS0 to 100 and the photos turned out perfect.

And I get much better results of the daily photograph if I don’t wait till late at night to take them. Procrastination will eventually kill you.
