They say that a photo is worth a thousand words – and there are thousands of ways to take a photo. A simple camera phone can capture moments. A photographer may need nothing more than a camera and the light that god is providing with a gorgeous sunset.
Other times it is up to the photographer to create that light – or at least give god’s light a fill light. Anyway, before I sound too cheesy here is my currently lighting set up that I love! It is an Alien Bees 800 with portable battery pack and a huge honking beauty dish. The battery alone weighs 20 lbs but you get some cool light.
When I was taking photos of Tad the other day I figured I would take a photo of my gear. Cause I am that much a geek.
