The more I photograph the more opportunities I have to meet people and discover the unique story that each person has to offer. Tad wanted photography that showed his personal growth over the last few years since he lost his partner several years ago. I will admit I was intimidated – such stories are moving and you really want to get the story captured to print.
I think we were able to do that. We visited several of my favorite locations. Exchange place, Saltair and the International Peace Garden. I was looking for peace, beauty, serenity in each location. Some of my favorite shots came from the Great Salt Lake and the sun behind Tad. Very dramatic – and some shots look like he is being bathed in sunlight and love.
And at the International Peace Garden the leaves were turning – and sun was setting and we we able to capture some special moments.
