Gay Bowl VIII – Sunday Games

The Sunday football photos from Gay Bowl VIII are now online! They include the photos for the championship game.

Sunday was memorable for the mere fact it snowed in the morning and then had the sun break through and we ended up with some warm(er) weather. As a photographer I think the best photos are found in bad weather. Call me weird – but I love it.

There are 2028 photos – that is a lot but I wanted to make sure there are photos of everyone who played in there. But here are some of my favorites – click any of them to see the gallery:

Gay Bowl VIII – Closing Activities

Sunday night after a weekend of activity can seem like such a downer – you know the next day people will be heading to the airport with bags in hand. Endings can really suck. However, the party continued with great spirits Sunday night.

Dinner was hosted at Rice Eccles Stadium – home of the Utah Utes. I know I had to sanitize after I left – I felt so dirty on enemy territory. Go Cougars. But it was an wonderful venue with a gorgeous view of the valley as the sunset and on the other side was the stadium;

After dinner the after party picked up at Trolley Square. Dancing, music and drinking and the night went on for some time. All in all a great time. At both the dinner and the after party I provided a slideshow of the photos from the games. It was a kick to watch people enjoy their photos. Slideshows are awesome and I can make them pretty quickly.

Photos for Saturday’s games are now online! There are 1217 pictures. The day was soaked in the morning and cloudy most the day. But it made for yet more cool photos.
