You have seen it happen. Perhaps you have done it yourself. You want a group picture of everyone – but someone has to take the picture. So you recruit a passer by to take a photo for you – and most often they are happy to oblige.
I have done this on occasion – but my camera – it sort of freaks people out. It is huge – there are buttons everywhere. There are two shutter buttons come to think of it. And you have to look through a viewfinder instead of the LCD screen. And often I am using a prime lens – and you have to zoom by walking back and forth. Oh the humanity!
Here is one photo from this past weekend. I was shooting a model for T.F.C.D. ( Time for CD ) and I asked if he could take a quick photo of me. He was more than happy to do so – he even mentioned he rather liked being behind the camera. Maybe we found a new Ansel Adams.

And yes my hair is going grey – if it is going grey I wish it would go full Anderson Cooper grey – and stat!
