About the Photographer

I am a lifestyle photographer based in Salt Lake City with a background in web design.

What is a lifestyle photographer? I want to capture people and their cherished moments. You could go to any photographer and have simple photos taken. You can have the fake background and phony smiles, however, I try to capture people living life.

Lifestyle photography helps me tell a story with your photos. The story may be your wedding day or perhaps your engagement. It could be your family visiting a park to play baseball or enjoying the outdoors. As a lifestyle photographer I can be a wedding photographer, sports photographer, senior portrait photographer, or more. The importance is the story we tell together.

What also makes my photography unique is that my photos are not finished the moment the shutter clicks. I shoot in natural light and I use strobes - and usually do a bit of both in most all situations. I take the photos and digitally process the photos with Photoshop, Lightroom and other tools. I add an artistic element. Maybe I turn some black and white, or very colorful with some strong contrast. Texture, light, color all become artistic tools to creating perfect memories that you will enjoy for years to come.
